South London’s Dust Bucket will be spinning his vast and obsessive vinyl collection of Rock n Roll and Rhythm and Blues. Six pound on the door.

Ben Edge & The Electric Pencils

Artist/Painter Ben Edge’s latest musical venture. The name was inspired by a trip to The Collection de l’art brut museum in Lausanne, Switzerland where Ben Edge came across the drawings of the recently discovered outsider artist James Edward deeds (A.K.A the Electric Pencil). The band began originally as a two piece with Steve Coley playing the bass and drums as a one man band. After the duo recorded the debut album and made a video for the song ‘Extra Curricular’ the band temporarily split up. Ben Edge determined to see an official release for the album and keep the band going has since recruited Tom Wing on bass and Teodora Kosanović on drums. The songs themselves are both raw and well crafted and reminiscent of bands such as the Kinks, the Vaselines, the Velvet underground, the Violent Femmes and the Cramps to name a few.

The Roves

The roves are four cagers that like to play their git glaring music for a select audience, tarted up in west end finery, and keeping it brief they really have got some sleek numbers in their set, you want to know about the line up? Fine its two blonde bastards from barnet, a welsh pen pal, and the luton boy. Hey it’s the roves baby, rip roaring REKKIDS, and seeking no retribution.

The Roves single ‘Green Beret’ is being released on ‘One man movement’ and will be available to buy on the night. Also keep your eyes peeled for their debut album due out next year!

DJ: Dust Bucket (Radiocore)

He’s fresh meat on the DJ’s block, but Dust Bucket leaves no corners untouched in the search of the most primitive garage rock, pounding rhythm and blues, and trashy rock ‘n’ roll. His collection of 45’s have a unique take on music from the 50’s and 60’s, and are guaranteed to get your hips shaking and your feet stomping.

In his spare time, Dust Bucket like to make chutneys and practice stunts.
