Their indie-pop takes inspiration from Bowie to Magnetic Fields via Talking Heads. They combine guitars and keys with uke, mandolin, synths and melodica to create music that would blind a deaf man.
The boys have known each other for so long they sometimes claim to have invented pop music. But as they were born in the 80’s it is more likely that they were conceived by it.
In 2012 Sensible Sam & Japan released their debut EP If I Lose My Legs. In clinical trials, 4 out of 5 women would recommend it to a friend.
