London-based HAWK have been described as everything from alt-pop to dark folk…
Lead singer Julie Hawk who has been described as “a bit of the Bjork side of brilliant bonkers” (Artrocker) whilst Subba Culture go for “A fusion of ambience and power, fronted by a soaring, crackling vocal”
They’ll be playing a special acoustic performance to start the night off at 8.30pm..
BLACK RIVER WILD
Black River Wild are a folk, rock n’ blues band delivering a stormy melting pot of foot-stomping floor fillers, plaintive ballads and captivating acoustica.
It’s a whisky-soaked, twanging guitar, dusty display of heart felt story telling of joy & sorrow.
Plus a DJ set from OLA’S KOOL KITCHEN!
The Kitchen will provide you with all you the sounds you need to get your knees up between bands. Prepare for hot fever to move your feet to a swinging beat. Steamy and very sweet for that Friday night shindig feeling!
