STASH
STASH is Punk Duchess meets Hendrix for the 21st Century. London based but mostly hailing from Ohio, near the epicenter of the historic breeding ground for Midwest punk, psyche and blues- the same pedigree as The MC5 and The Stooges. Female fronted, STASH digs deep into rough, tough rock territory streaked with purist influences.

To experience a STASH gig is a “cerebral stab in the heart”. They sound like The Count Five in a pub brawl with Joe Meek. The guitar sounds like Keef Richards wading through a Louisiana swamp. The drums are loose-limbed and staccato- every snareshot sounds like a handclap- and the whole rackety, lo-fi noisefest is presided over by a punk rock Barbarella, who lets rip a glorious howl of a vocal while giving a vintage synth a good seeing-to.”(Michael Johnson, Nemesis)

THE FAMILY MONROE
Like the performers they admire, The Family Monroe write and sing songs that come directly from the heart and aim for the jugular. Taking major influences from the music and films from the 50s and 60s, the music echoes a golden era of teenage heartbreak, with a darker lyrical twist often exploring the connections between love and violence, sex and control. Formed in LIverpool in the summer of 2012, The Family Monroe are everything a classic pop band should be.
