London based rock ‘n’ roll band
VERA BLACK
Vera’s unique vocal style and tone draws on such iconic influences as Fleetwood Mac, Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin and Nina Simone to more current contemporaries like Adele, Florence and the Machine and Ray La Montage to create her own brand of music.
In the past 12 years Vera’s talents have been recognized in many areas, including music videos, live performance, jewellery and fashion design and writing for feature film. Most recently Vera Black has expanded from a duo to a 5 piece band delivering everything from soaring ballads and outright rock n roll.
Describing themselves as Folk/Soul/Rock…or as Vera puts it ‘Modern Woodstock’ you can be sure of a memorable performance from this unique outfit. Having already graced the stages of some of London’s best known venues and a set at last year’s Sundance Film & Music Festival, this girl and her band of brothers will have you asking for more.

Swindon born singer/songwriter Alice Offley formed the LOVERS on Valentine’s day 2013, with a love of 4 part harmony and vintage records.
