This is going to be an exciting night for a few reasons:
1 Farrago are playing, which means that my co-host Ian, your lovely compere, will be taking to the stage with to perform his original songs with the help of his band!
2 Grace & Tony are on tour in the UK from Tennessee. The punkgrass duo have some great tunes and we’re really excited that they’re going to be playing live for us!
3 This is the first time that The Music Box will be featuring FOUR acts instead of three, so you will also be able to fill your ears with more great tunes, courtesy of Adam White and De’borah!
We can’t wait!

Just to remind you, 100% of the door takings go to the artists, so by supporting the night you are supporting musicians and live music. We are also very proud to be hosted by the lovely Paper Dress Vintage. By coming along and sampling their fine selection of beverages, you are supporting an independent venue! And if you didn’t already know, shopping for a vintage gem can go on all through the night!

De’borah www.deborahsmusic.com
There are no tricks here, just a gently picked guitar and some frankly stunning vocals. De’Borah has one of those voices that makes you stop everything and just listen, until you emerge trancelike from the other side wondering whether it felt like a second or a lifetime. It is perhaps a little lazy to draw comparisons to Joni Mitchell, but De’Borah’s voice certainly shares a purity and vulnerability that makes me think this song wouldn’t feel out of place nestled somewhere on ‘Song to a Seagull’.- Fresh On The Net.
Adam White
Returning to The Music Box after a fantastic performance last year, Adam will be playing his original music featuring intricate and skilled finger-picking guitar and haunting melodies. Adam is not only a great songwriter – he will also be playing on some of Farrago’s songs, so it’s going to be a busy night for him!

Grace & Tony experiment with an unlikely blend of genres by mixing punk, folk, bluegrass and Texas swing, to create something new. What resulted was a blend of music for those searching for what’s beyond the norm: “Punkgrass” was born.
Crafting and singing lyrical tales of murder, addiction, and lost love, Grace & Tony honed their newfound brand of music on the sidewalks of downtown Nashville… And now we’re very excited to be welcoming them to The Music Box!
Farrago
Farrago play garage folk. Songs written on the road about life with delicate but powerful vocals and strong rhythmic guitar.
