King of the Swingers!
Thu 16 May
We’re honoured to be hosting a 25th Birthday anniversary for renowned vintage club night Indigo at Paper Dress on Saturday 8 June.
With live music from Count Indigo himself plus very special guest Mike Flowers and the Sounds Superb Singers plus The Men Who Fell To Earth (Bowie covers like you’ve never heard before!) interspersed with choice selections from Martin Green (Smashing/Workers Playtime), Paul Putner (Regency Rooms) and Special Kay (Spiritland/Duckie)
Here’s some words from the man himself about what’s in store for you lucky people..
“Groovy loungecore forever!
Yes, its one’s 25th birthday!
I, the ambassador of lounge invite you to the bordello of a thousand swingers.
Its a quarter of a century since Indigo launched the easy listening renaissance with a miraculous and mortal night at Madame Jojo’s. Don your favourite cocktail attire and saunter from the past into the lounge future with a fanfare of hits from the 50s through to the 70s.”
