Opening up we have Husband and newcomers, cinematic lounge trio Dutch Grip!
TOP CAT COLLECTIVE
Top Cat Collective are a six-piece funk and hip-hop group hailing from the South East. Their refreshing take combines the groove-based stank of The Meters and Parliament Funkadelic with the forward thinking aesthetic of J Dilla, D’Angelo and Georgia Anne Muldrow.
Smokey Jazz to Funk and Rock n Roll!
A homegrown blend of soulful rhythm and blues and strong melodies from this colourful 5-piece!
A moody evocative sound that uniquely sits somewhere between The National and Nick Cave.
Their debut single ‘What a World’ was released in November 2019, which was recorded with Sean Read (Manic Street Preachers, Dexy Midnight Runners) at Famous Times Studio in Hackney and has over 30,000 streams on Spotify – https://open.spotify.com/album/4mhDbPLPuPvFpV9OtbdV4s.
