Our friend Ben Murphie joins us this Sunday for a delayed album launch shindig, here’s what he’s got to say about what’s going on…

“The songs were done, fingernails bitten and mixes finally abandoned. My debut album was ready to launch.
Then Lockdown happened…I built a venue in my bedroom. I released a single every week over the summer with a live stream gig, a poster and a single cover.
By the end of the summer I had discovered new fans online and connected with the people who have followed me from the beginning.
On Sunday 25th October I am staging a socially distanced gallery show of all the posters and single covers that went into my summer releases. There will be a socially distanced live performance (max 30) and The Adventures Of Yesterday will be launched as a full length record.
I am so grateful to the people who have participated in the unfolding of this project over the course of the year.
I cannot wait to play it live for a few of you.
