LEWIS DURHAM is well known as one of the talented, multi-instrumental trio of siblings Kitty, Daisy and Lewis. But he also loves to take off his producer’s hat, step out from behind the drum kit and put down his guitar to give his cherished blues, r’n’b, ska & calypso records a spin.

SCRATCHY SOUNDS kicked off his extensive DJ life in the bars and venues of London, 45 years ago, playing shows with the likes of The Ramones, The Heartbreakers, The Cramps & Dr. Feelgood and spending two years on the road as The Clash Tour DJ. Joining up again with Joe Strummer and his Mescaleros in 2001, he has since toured alongside The Pogues and Gogol Bordello, as well as setting festivals, concerts and clubs alight, from Colombia to Japan to London’s Gypsy Hotel, with his fiery concoctions of The Rock and The Roll of The World and Roots Rockin’ Rhythms and Blues.
