Jack Cheshire ‘Future Fractal Plays’ Album Launch

Limited tickets available HERE

Jack Cheshire‘s music has evolved from minimal lo-fi psych folk to multi-layered shimmering art pop // space rock with an esoteric singular sound. His live show has led him to share bills with luminary peers Songhoy Blues and Josh T Pearson, and grace the stages of Green Man Festival and The Kings Place. The ghosts of Broadcast, Nick Drake, and Syd Barrett skirt the edges of his songs, embellished by what Uncut magazine calls an ‘Ian McCulloch-style croon’, with a ‘burnished psychedelia [that] takes this music to the skies’. He released his 2020 album ‘Fractal Future Plays’ to universal press and radio acclaim, with support from the likes of 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne, Mark Radcliffe, KEXP’s Kevin Cole, and Absolute Radio’s Frank Skinner.

Inspired by the concept of Multiverse, time corridors, the Astral Plane and dystopian rabbit hole our world appears to have headed down, FRACTAL FUTURE PLAYS, Jack Cheshire’s fifth album, is a unique and bewitching brew. Elements of art pop, psychedelia, space rock, jazz plus the wide-eyed psych folk Cheshire has become known for combine to great effect. This is the sound of an artist hitting his stride; a haunting and cosmic ride through a cluster of shimmering constellations and heady psychic landscapes.
