It’s the Paper Dress Funk & Soul Xmas Party!
As is tradition we’re throwing a big Funk & Soul shindig and this year we have the awesome 10-piece tornado of funk that is the SOUL GRENADES, accompanied by instrumental funk dons THE WAX PREACHERS and high energy brass trio NEW CAR SMELL.
DJ PERRI KAYE (All Souled Out) will be getting us all dancing round the Christmas tree till late, whilst Andrew Makin (Soul’d Ya Soul) will be warming us up from 7.30pm.
Expect to hear music from the 60s, 70s, 80s. Plenty of Motown classics and southern soul gold from Stax records. Plus all the Disco.

This show is part of our ‘Hello Again, Hackney‘ series which Hackney Council are running to encourage local residents to return to the borough’s theatres, galleries, cinemas, museums & grassroots music venues after a very difficult period.
Each ‘Hello Again, Hackney’ ticket admits 2 guests – 1 guest must show proof of Hackney residency on admission.
