The sound is a blend of harmonious influences: The Rolling Stones, Aldous Huxley, CSN, Sly & The Family Stone, Kurt Vonnegut, The Beatles, The Staple Singers, it goes on. But the result is a hard edged folk-soul sound overlaid with a multi-layered and mesmeric sweetness in the vocals.
