We’re opening up a portal right in the heart of Hackney Central that will take us down to the infamous Red Room in the Twin Peaks universe, soundtracked by White Devil Disco, Novi Sad & Big Dipper!
Come meet Laura Palmer, Agent Cooper and other creatures of all shapes and sizes, most likely speaking in reverse. Here’s the program:
WHITE DEVIL DISCO
Expect a totally unique performance from this neo-classical goth pop disco project straight out of South London.
NOVI SAD
Effects-laden savage guitar battles intense, vitriolic vocals, accompanied by thunderous drums and an incessant throbbing bass to create a murderous cacophony of sound. They bring to mind the early days of The Horrors, Magazine and A Place To Bury Strangers.
BIG DIPPER
Cowboy boots, jean jackets, leather pants and a legendary mustache:
Big Dipper encapsulates the sound of the American dream waking up with a hangover and falling down in the gutter.
They are a bluesier and a more rock’n’roll cousin of The Velvet Underground with their relentless and unstoppable grooves, the tortured vocals and the guitar’s low E string resonnating like a prisonner banging on the prison’s metal bars throughout their songs.

This show is part of the ‘Hello Again, Hackney’ series which Hackney Council are running to encourage local residents to return to the borough’s grassroots music venues after a very difficult period.
Each ‘Hello Again, Hackney’ ticket admits 2 guests – 1 guest must show proof of Hackney residency on admission.
