SON Estrella Galicia bring a second exciting taste of Spanish nightlife to London, continuing their partnership with Paper Dress Vintage
A night of exhilarating live music, beer culture and positive impact is promised with buzzy UK 6-piece DEADLETTER and Spanish indie-pop quartet Melenas taking to the stage.
Also featured are DJ sets from Jordan Cook & Oli Paget-Moon (Telegram) and Sophie Landers (Black Doldrums/ Fuzz Records)
Celebrated London restaurant Tapas Brindisa will provide food pairings with Estrella Galicia Cerveza Lager and 1906 Reserva Especial, with experts on hand to provide the perfect pour.
DEADLETTER
Celebrating the release of their debut EP ‘Heat!’ (18th November, SO Recordings) with a very special intimate performance.
The band channel the droll fury of The Fall and the lopsided rhythms of LCD Soundsystem into a strain of vehement post-punk, exploring the darker side of existence through a lens of narrative-driven levity. They recently sold out The 100 Club and a string of singles have won the support of DIY Magazine, DORK, So Young and BBC 6Music’s Steve Lamacq.
MELENAS
A garage fuzz pop group from Pamplona, Spain. Fans of The Feelies, Stereolab and classic C86 jangle pop bands will fall for their shimmering guitars, sweet melodies and drivingrhythms. They also add a touch of sun-kissed, soft focus psych to their sound. Brilliant melodies, fresh bass lines, acid keys and a Lindy Morrison drum style are adorned with fuzz and phasers and surrounded with heavenly vocal harmonies.
