THE MOTOR SHOW – For all intents & purposes the latest genre-mashing project from Wyoming-hailing, UK-dwelling multi-instrumentalist, Beau Vine. Cobbled together with members from previous outfits, the band Vine has assembled lands somewhere between fuzzy nonchalance & telenovela melodrama.
TENDERHOST – Tenderhost is a new six-piece jazz-rock band, formed under the leadership of Gabriel Levy who had previously gained prominence as the lead in the now-defunct: Sistertalk. The band’s music is a savant mélange of what could be described as calm and cold jazzy film-noir soundtracks and alternative prog. A very delicately crafted sound at the service of impeccable songrwriting skills.
MORGAN NOISE – Piercing synth leads, soft and elaborated jazz guitar lines, a tight and relentless rythm section dominated by Morgan’s soft vocals and saxophone cutting through the mix in a delicious freak out.
Morgan Noise perfectly masters the sweet and sour contrasts of music, she her band take us through an incredibly wide range of tones, emotions and dynamics that leaves a profound mark on the lucky listener.
