Harvey Whyte presents a night of ‘Piano Rap’ with acoustic support from special guests.
Harvey Whyte is a rapper, self-taught pianist and producer, born and bred in Hackney, London.
Not many rappers can perform as well in front of a mic as they can behind a piano, but his evolution continues to amaze anyone who crosses his path. Harvey’s piano-rap fusion is paired with clever wordplay and vivid storytelling abilities which can only be found in the DNA of an inner-city musician.
His style spans multiple genres; from hip hop, trap, neo-soul, and alternative RnB to jazz and electronic. It’s this versatility, alongside his skills as a producer, that’s also put him firmly at the top of the collaborators’ list. In the past two years he has worked alongside and released tracks with Footsie, Greentea Peng, KeepVibesNear, Luke RV, amongst others, and has collaborations with Fatima and Sigma in the pipeline.
In September, Harvey released his debut album ‘Piano Rap’ and over the past year has seen his fanbase grow globally across all platforms. Recently, a clip of him performing ‘Mocktails and Weed’ went viral on Instagram, receiving over 2.3 million views and has garnered him a number of celebrity followers.
