Jeff Darko is a British Ghanaian emerging neo-soul singer/songwriter.
His distinctive sound pays homage to Soul, R&B, Electronica, African Jazz and Alternative-Pop, blending them all together into a musical amalgam he describes as ‘Psychedelic Gospel.’
Supported by the likes of BBC Introducing, CLASH, The Independent, Gigwise, Jamz Supernova, Complex & considered by the Evening Standard as “London’s Childish Gambino”, & “Soulful with a touch of Frank Ocean” by Mixmag, Jeff joins fellow contemporaries such as Moses Sumney, Childish Gambino, Andre 3000 and Yves Tumor as Black artists altering the current musical landscape.
Inspired by the original meaning of psychedelic from Greek (psykhē “Soul” + dēloun “make visible, reveal) and combining it with Gospel’s spiritual stories, Psychedelic Gospel is built around openness, vulnerability and truth.
