Crafting a sharp blend of intense noise rock, indie psychedelia, and post punk, test plan have already made their mark on the vibrant London underground music scene.
BRIDES
“If True Blood was a band”
Based in East London, Brides are a queer Southern Gothic rock band blending country and blues with heavy riffs and a Lynchian aesthetic.
The band take influence from artists such as Orville Peck, Nick Cave, Black Sabbath, and The Kills, as well as gothic literature, alternative films, and tales of the macabre.
IN VIOLET
Founded in 2010 by Jake Murray, in violet is a musical project marrying the worlds of the experimental with the conventional. Traversing all manner of sonic terrain, from abrasive post-industrial structures to spacial lysergic landscapes, the concept is one of momentum and exploration.
Initially a recording project, in violet has evolved over the years and the songs reimagined for live performances to reinterpret what was once familiar.
With a carousel of contributors and co-writers across all releases to date, in violet continues to push the envelope of just how far one wild idea can go.
