Ayden Skye is a New York doll with a raspy voice and a wild imagination.
Her version of “art imitates life” centers on versatility: both her professional résumé and sonic landscape are characterized by range. She’s been a teacher, an actress, an event planner, a journalist, and a box office cashier; her music blends rock n’ roll, jazz, pop, and soul. She is a true chameleon: not ever-changing, but rather all-encompassing. She’s also been known to glow in the dark.
A regular at legendary venues like Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, Bowery Electric, Don’t Tell Mama, and Pianos, Miss Skye has become a staple of the NYC music scene.
She’s also been fortunate enough to have mentors and collaborators in some of her industry role models: her first single, “Pray To Me”, was produced by two-time Grammy Award-winner Boo Mitchell (Al Green, Bruno Mars, John Mayer) and her second, “Blue Lights”, was produced and engineered by Jon Arbuckle (Jonas Brothers, Jon Batiste). Her third, “Man”, produced by Russ DeSalvo (Celine Dion, Lionel Richie), is due out this September.
