Sad House Daddy presents:
FRANKIE MORROW
Hailing from Paisley, Scotland, Frankie Morrow is an indie artist rooted in traditional, honest storytelling. Almost a decade after playing in various outfits together on the west coast of Scotland from the age of 14, she formed her own band in January 2022. Before they had played their first gig, the then unreleased track ‘White Rocks’ had already picked up its first airplay on BBC Introducing in Scotland and later on Amazing Radio in the UK and US when released as the first single. Second single ‘Sunflowers’ was debuted on BBC Radio 1 by Gemma Bradley. Both songs featured on Frankie Morrow’s debut EP, ‘Blue Parrot Backpackers Hostel’. The band has built up a formidable reputation live, earning them a slot at last year’s Glastonbury Festival.
CORDELIA GARTSIDE
Cordelia Gartside’s ‘lo-fi creep rock’ is both vulnerable and sinister. Since forming her band in January 2024 she’s been stunning audiences with her live shows, where gut-wrenching vocals meet grungy band euphonics. Cathartic and deeply emotional, her performances have drawn comparisons to PJ Harvey, Patti Smith and Radiohead.
THE GLOWWORMS
The Glowworms is a brand new band & recording project based between London and LA, featuring Dov Sikowitz (of dovvydotcom,) Sam Hodder (of Family Stereo,) Annie Walton, Jordan Momani and George Lavender. Somewhere on an axis between stories and hymns, between the organic and the distorted, The Glowworms’ sound is warm and full of colour.
