Dead Pages will be playing their first London headline show in over a year alongside folk singer-songwriters, Phil Maguire and Esme White.
DEAD PAGES
Dead Pages have started a folk scene in Wiltshire that was born out of a long running open mic night and a more recent series of inclusive folk nights that bring together musicians of all kinds. The music that they have started to write and record is rooted in these pub-centric sounds and is folk instruments oriented with modern electric guitar and modulated violin as a contrast.
PHIL MAGUIRE
Phil Maguire is a folk and blues musician from South East London that has been touring their unique blend of contemporary and traditional folk music for the past 10 years across London and the UK. A life of gigging on the road birthed a couple of singles that were followed by the EP ‘The Church Bell’ in early 2022. 2023 then saw the release of his debut album ‘Valley Of My Dreams’.
ESME WHITE
Esme White is a New York born singer songwriter with a love for storytelling and world building. Drawing on influences from country, folk, punk and poetry, she began writing a collection of songs mid lockdown as a way remain engaged and imaginative with the pulse of existence.
