London based Irish-Puerto Rican musician, Jæd, plays a headline show + special guests following the release of the debut album I Loved the Gauntlet and There Was No Other Way in Nov ’24
Once seen live, Jæd is hard to forget. In her hands, the guitar is choked at the neck, tamed and mastered like a wild animal to yield a particular tone, while her voice – an instrument all of its own – is capable of incredible tenderness one moment, before taking on shades of desperation and defiance the next.
Listen, and you will hear a maelstrom of influences: the psychedelic contortions of Yves Tumor, the vocal thrills of Kate Bush and the glitched-out, electronic freefalls of Death Grips.
