Limited tickets available HERE

GULZ. In Hackney. On a Saturday night. What more can we say?

GULZ

Originally formed during medical school, GULZ was created as a means to throw loose afterparties and impress the opposite sex (unsuccessfully). Since then, the four piece have gone on to become the first indie band of junior doctors (+ allies) to sellout the Camden Assembly, release an EP on Fierce Panda, and even bag themselves a full-page spread on BBC NEWS…

Not long after songwriter/ then-medical student- Gulz Dhanoya started crafting and releasing tunes from his bedroom in Newcastle, did BBC introducing, local radio and media take interest. Gig offers were coming left, right and centre, and so Gulz drafted in his closest allies. Gulz met Eliza through a tragically unfunny comedy group in medical school. Josh Schlanker; an agent of chaos from RUMSFC. Soon after, shows started to sell out, ridiculous merch tees flew off shelves, and there was ‘hype’ (?!) around the group. Thereafter, the anatomy books closed and the only rhythm the group focused on were the ones they created in Camden’s Pirate Studios and LeMob Studios (Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Mark Ronson). Headline shows at the Camden Assembly, the Old Blue Last, The O2 Academy Islington, Ronnie Scott’s and more. All Sold Out. A debut EP release on Fierce Panda Records (Coldplay, Keane, Macabees) followed. Dodgy management contracts and the odd music industry oddball have come knocking; the group are ready to soar. This is your band, your friends and your songs.

Special guests TBA.
