After a sold out show last year, we’re delighted to welcome back Jamie Perrett plus special guests Kirk Vaughan Steaggles & Hari The Cosmic Cowboy
JAMIE PERRETT
Performing with his band, Jamie’s music blends melodic rock with raw, infectious energy, resonating with vulnerability and honesty. A mixture of dark driving riffs, poignant lyrics and dynamic arrangements which are perfectly punctuated with powerful and catchy melodies.
Growing up in an unconventional household, it was almost inevitable that Jamie Perrett – the son of the man who wrote one of the most iconic punk songs, ‘Another Girl, Another Planet’ – would find music as both a refuge and a means of self-expression. Despite the early success of his father band Jamie’s childhood in South London was marked by extreme hardship due to his parents’ struggles with addiction.
Jamie has played a pivotal role in Peter Perrett’s creative resurgence; contributing lead guitar, production and songwriting to his father’s solo work, released on Domino Records. Jamie produced Peter’s critically acclaimed LP “The Cleansing”, featuring guests Bobby Gillespie, Johnny Marr and Carlos O’Connell from Fontaines DC.
His own debut is no ordinary rock record – it’s a testament to resilience, talent and the unfiltered truth of growing up on the edge of rock and roll.
KIRK VAUGHAN STEAGGLES
Kirk Vaughan Steaggles explores the extremes of the human condition with a raw, bluesy psychedelia whilst channeling a number of his idols; the surreal blues of Captain Beefheart, the darkness of Nick Cave and the brooding croon of Jim Morrison.
Well established on London’s live circuit, Kirk has played in a range of projects, including making psychedelic noise as guitarist in Circus Cannon, thundering fuzz-bass in Creeping Jean and frenetic riffs with Suicide Generation.
HARI THE COSMIC COWBOY
Forged from the interplanetary collision of melodic Mercury and seductive Saturn, Hari the Cosmic Cowboy and his band of galactic cosmonauts bring you the best mix of psych-rock, blues and astral folk this side of Andromeda.
