Launching their sixth album “Basic Country Mustard”, Red River Dialect return for their first full band show in 4 years. Their first new long player in six years, it picks up where 2019’s Abundance Welcoming Ghosts left off; lyric-focussed folk-rock which the Guardian gave Folk album of the month calling it “Alert, anti-colonialist folk… alternate seduction and disquiet on this worldly album steeped in the British landscape”.
Alex Irene is a Welsh songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose musical adventures criss-cross the border between lush classicism and open-hearted DIY experimentation. His debut studio LP “Two”, a tender and inventive meditation on love and distance, was released on Parish Records in April 2025.
