DHP Presents:

NIGHT FLIGHT

Night Flight are a band to instantly devour, before uncovering fresh wonder with each listen. For existing fans, who might have seen Night Flight at previous sold-out shows or supporting Paul Simon at Hyde Park, prepare for their most cohesive work yet as Sam Holmes and Harry Phillips’ wide-ranging songwriting is enveloped into Night Flight at their tenderest, while maintaining their past honesty and incision.

Expect to be mesmerised by the Night Flight sound; a blend of shimmering, uplifting melodies with textured, atmospheric guitar music reminiscent of Real Estate, Deerhunter and The War On Drugs, while somehow sounding totally unique. These are songs that take you to another place entirely; songs to evoke visions of California, Canada, even London itself, and refigure them as places that exist within the imagination.

Exit Stage Left’s ten songs form a magical landscape of The War On Drugs’ ambition, The Blue Nile’s precision and the fragile beauty of John Martyn, tied together with a wry humour reminiscent of Randy Newman.

Recent press quotes:

“British outfit preview their new album with this broad and emotive indie-rock stunner.”
Mystic Sons (“Alimony”)

“The harmonies on the chorus remind me of something that could have come out of the mid-70s (think The Band, Eagles etc.) ” and “..a masterful bit of songwriting and performance.”
Ear To The Ground Music (“Lucy”)

“…this song’s restrained backdrop leaves room for its sweet vocal harmonies and electric guitar interludes to really shine. We think it’s a sure thing for fans of artists like Billie Marten.”
Indie Underrated

“Night Flight bridges the gap between Vampire Weekend and Beach House, incorporating that classic indie style with a touch of modern production mastery.”
