Paper Dress Live & Flash Delirium presents acid-folk artist Lando Manning plus special guests Winnipeg, MN + Lex Vervain
LANDO MANNING
Lando Manning is a singer-songwriter based in Peckham whose music blends traditional folk with ambient textures and shoegaze atmospheres, creating a distinctive brand of acid-tinged folk. Drawing from a pool of influences that range from Linda Perhacs to Acetone, Manning crafts sparse, emotionally resonant songs that explore introspective themes.
Lando’s latest work follows years on the capital’s live circuit, and an impressive array of performances with the likes of Six Organs of Admittance, Maya Ongaku, Buffalo Nichols, Ora Cogan, Myriam Gendron, Billie Marten, Jasmin Jethwa, Aoife Nessa Francis and Oracle Sisters. With considerable backing from the independent and grassroots press, Lando can also count Cerys Matthews, Deb Grant, Line of Best Fit, Far Out Magazine, Tradfolk, Moof, Hard of Hearing, The Indie Scene, Backseat Mafia, When The Horn Blows and Clunk as among his backers.
WINNIPEG, MN
Winnipeg, MN are a folk-inflected indie rock band based in South London. They play dynamic and eclectic songs, tied together by a heartfelt vocal and strong sense of rhythm. Expect interwoven clarinet and violin, followed by heavy distorted guitars.
LEX VERVAIN
Lex Vervain, new-town troubadour, singer, songwriter and guitarist operates out of SE London. His music is in tune with the Elliott Smith/ Alex G alt camp, sharp words and serious tunes, songs that come from a small world caught up in the metropolis.
He put out his debut, self-titled EP in June 2025 recorded with Joseph Futak (Lilo, Tapir, Baggio Band, Luce Rushton…) and gigged through London with Your French Girlfriend, djank, Ewe & Friends, The Sunken Sea, Lando Manning, Mary, Luce Rushton, Tall Child, Kitty…. Lex plays solo live shows, focusing on ear-pricking vocals, crisp acoustic fretwork, reverb and soft electronic beats to deliver. He also plays keys in Ellie Bleach’s band and often backs Luce Rushton at her shows.
