YASAK HELVA
Yasak Helva are an Anatolian electric folk trio blending fuzz-drenched psych-rock with gritty grunge, groovy funk, and jazz. Powered by electrified traditional instruments such as cümbüş, bağlama, fretless guitar, and percussion, their sound roams freely from Anatolia to the Middle East, Siberia, the Balkans, and the West.
Raw and untamed, Yasak Helva were featured on the Saz Power compilation LP and are widely regarded as one of the most authentic contemporary acts to emerge from Anatolia standing apart from the more media-friendly Turkish psych revival scene.

Burak Cetindag opens the night with his signature vinyl set. His sound travels from the golden era of 1970s Anatolian psychedelic rock, jazz, funk, prog and disco-folk to contemporary gems, all delivered through warm analogue grooves.
