Man & The Echo are celebrating 10 years of their self-titled debut album this November with two very special anniversary shows in London and Salford.
Expect to hear the album played live and in full for the first (and last) time ever, including Operation Margarine, Distance Runner and The Favourite Band of A Dead Man. Plus all the fan favourites from the back catalogue.
M&TE are currently working on some brand-new material for release before the year is out but these gigs will be a chance to reflect and say thanks to everyone that has supported them over the last decade.
**The band want to make it clear that the choice of lower-capacity venues for the gigs is in no way a reflection on their lack of success in the intervening 10 years. This is a conscious choice in an effort to make the shows feel more intimate and personal for the audience**
“Combining witty, acerbic, splenetic, cutting, incisive, observational, political and sometimes laugh out loud funny words in a way that is catchy, melodic, singalong and sometimes even danceable is quite an achievement, and one that singer Gaz Roberts manages to pull off with ridiculous ease. To my mind it’s radio gold. Even when it’s too sweary to be played on the radio!” – John Kennedy – Radio X
