⚡DAVID KAYODE

David Kayode is a London-based saxophonist and composer whose work sits at the intersection of Afro-diasporic rhythm, contemporary jazz and improvisation. Rooted in Yoruba cosmology and shaped by the energy of London’s evolving music scene, his sound moves fluidly between meditative intensity and groove-driven release.

Blending elements of spiritual jazz, carnival rhythms and modern improvisational language, Kayode creates live performances that go beyond the conventional concert format. His shows are immersive and dynamic, unfolding as shared experiences that invite movement, deep listening and collective connection.

FRAKA

Fraka (noun):

1. A noisy disturbance or quarrel.

2. A 5-piece multi-genre jazz fusion band from across Europe. Taking a mixture of hip hop, funk, afrobeat and dub as the starting point of an argument, their sound is defined in turns; lush psychedelic soundscapes ask a question, irresistible horn melodies provide a biting counter-argument, and deep hypnotic grooves pull all listeners into the fray.

⚡ EMMA TAYLOR

Emma Taylor is a 20-year-old jazz vocalist and singer-songwriter currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music.

Originally from Bristol, Emma is an award-winning vocalist (2023 Bristol Festival of Music, Speech and Drama) as well as a member of the London Vocal Project led by Pete Churchill. Since moving to London, Emma has studied with the esteemed improvising vocalist Norma Winstone, and performed in venues such as Pizza Express Live in Soho and the Vortex Jazz Club.
