Between Suns
Grimy, beautiful, hectic, sometimes futuristic, most definitely multicultural, imperfect but real, Between Suns is a genre-blending band from East London. Led by French vocalist Nausicaä, whose operatic voice shifts from raw power to vulnerability, the band’s music also showcases Paul Lisak’s gritty guitar riffs and melodic intricacies. Illia Lisak on bass and Reuben Rost on drums provide a driving, sometimes pulsating energy, while Sofia Lisak’s violin adds haunting beauty. Their sound is emotionally charged, unpredictable and immersive, offering a fresh, original experience that defies current trends.
Modern People
Modern People is a four-piece band based between London and Manchester, crafting music that balances gritty realism and hazy introspection. Taking cues from Fontaines D.C., Broadcast, TOY, and Mazzy Star, their sound blends post-punk urgency with lush, shoegazeinspired textures and soft, emotive vocals.
Sonic Sex
Born from the stormy coasts of Scandinavia and raised on the backstreets of British grit, Sonic Sex brings forth a sound that resembles something out of a bar fight.
