After a year of absence from the London stages that felt like an eternity, we’re extremely please to announce that the international electronic and new wave duo Minimal Schlager are coming back in London for an extremely rare and exclusive show at Paper Dress Vintage on Saturday 19th September with support from the brilliant Teleboutique !
MINIMAL SCHLAGER
Minimal Schlager is a Berlin/London-based electronic duo blending Italo-disco, dark wave, and synth-driven pop with a cinematic edge. Since their debut EP Voodoo Eyes (2020) and breakout album Love, Sex & Dreams on Duchess Box Records, they’ve released Dance Is a Place of Resistance (2023) and the 2025 EP After Midnight, alongside singles and remixes for labels including Italians Do It Better. Their recent work, produced by Cisco Parisi between Berlin and London, leans deeper into hypnotic club structures and nocturnal moods. Minimal Schlager has toured extensively across Europe and the US, including SXSW, and shared stages with acts such as Curses, Italians Do It Better, The KVB, CocoRosie, Circuit des Yeux, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Lust for Youth, and Torres. With a growing catalogue and strong live presence, the duo continues to refine their dark, romantic take on modern electronic music.
