“Popped in here after having done some vintage shopping at a nearby shop’s clearance sale, otherwise I’d have walked out with a pretty white lace ’70s blouse which is so “on trend” right now as those proper fashionistas say.
(I’m a fashionista myself, I’ll admit, but more because I am addicted to shopping and my success rate has somehow managed to be more hit than miss so far.)
There’s a good range of clothing here; it’s not all crammed onto the railings as you find in some other stores where you get a workout just shoving the clothing to one side. the sales staff are also nice and friendly without being stalker-ish. It’s a nice change from the air of almost-arrogance that you get from – yes, I’ll say it again – some other stores in the area.
As others have mentioned, there’s a cafe in this shop as well. Cakes seemed reasonably priced at £2 per humungous brownie. I think free wi-fi is also available here.
Alterations are offered here as well. Always good given body shapes have changed significantly through the years!”
