On Friday 24th May we are delighted to present hot swinging gypsy jazz band LA DOUCE VITESSE, with the unique addition of smouldering, sensuous girl vocals they promise an unmissable evening of live music…
Live music begins at 8.30pm
Regular band members inc. Helen Moore (Helen Moore Trio, Quintet de la Nouvelle Croix) on vocals, Julian Isaacs (Hamer & Isaacs Gypsy Swing Band, Helen Moore Trio, etc.) on rhythm guitar, George Risk (Smokey Taps, Quintet de la Nouvelle Croix) on lead guitar, and Bobby Valentino (Hank Wangford, Bobby Valentino & The Musicians, Los Pistoleros, etc.) on violin.
Regularly featured guests inc. Robin Bibi (Robin Bibi Band, Helen Shapiro, Pretty Things, etc.) on guitar, Blaise Algar (McCalla, Damned, etc.) on trumpet, and Dave Dix on chromatic harmonica.
The band will be playing a number of sets over the course of the evening
