MARK MATHEWS & THE ONE TS

Mark Mathews is a London based singer-songwriter, voted one of the best new artists in London by readers of the Metro Newspaper and nominated for 2 Indy Music Awards for Best Live Act. His relentless gigging, touring and busking has taken him around the world, literally, and, when he is not touring, his London Underground Busker’s license takes him around the Circle Line, equally literally.

BLACK HAY

Having been described as “Worse than Leonard Cohen”, “A baby Nick Cave”, and “A voice you’d roll over in bed for”, Black Hay’s music fits comfortably under the description ‘Romantic Music for Perverts’, covering as many of the songs do, a sense of both lust, physicality, as well as outsider perspective.

The band plays a twisted, relentlessly grooving brand of rock n roll. The kind of guitar music you can dance to despite the live band consisting of two guitars and bass, with no drummer in a semi-tribute to Johnny Cash and early Elvis.
