North London’s noisiest folk-rock band The No Sorrows have finally finished their first LP, and they’ll be rocking the house at Paper Dress in Hackney to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Cosmic-harmonic six-piece The No Sorrows have been compared to 60s Brit-folk legends like Fairport Convention and Trees, with a droney dash of Neil Young. You can hear some tracks here: https://soundcloud.com/
They’ll be joined by psychedelic superstars The Magnetic Mind, whose way with a tasty garage-pop melody is unrivalled in the capital. Their first album recently scored a 4-star review in Mojo, and you can learn more about them and have a listen here: https://www.facebook.com/magneticminduk/?fref=ts
Also on the bill will be west coast vibe merchants Pollyanna Valentine, satisfying all your high-quality, lo-fidelity sun-kissed pop needs. Here’s their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/
There’ll be LPs for sale, and those who generously pledged to make The No Sorrows album possible will be able to claim their copies, plus free hugs and gratitude.
It’ll be £4 advance and £5 on the door – see the ticket link about. And there will of course be booze galore and dancing too, so tell your friends.
