On Thursday 17 December we’re hosting all singing, all dancing, party church service from London party-starters The Church!
Rev. Michael Alabama Jackson, his three Hail Mary’s and Morgan the Organ graced the stages Secret Garden Party, Bestival, Kendal Calling, BoomTown, Standon Calling and their greatest christian mission thus far, Glastonbury, where they closed the infamous Shangri-HELL stage on Saturday night to 3,000 people!
Here’s a few words from the man himself…
“Deck my balls with milk and honey! Welcome to the biggest birthday bash of the year. Sit down Elton John. Move your ass over Kim Kardashian. It’s time to celebrate the birth of our main man, Jesus Christ. Hold onto your party rings and come on down to Paper Dress in Hackney where we swap eggnog for absinthe and trade your tinsel for titties. Hallelujah!
You can expect an extra special Christmas church service hosted by yours truly, featuring unholy hymns, absinthe baptisms and an exclusive NUNPLUGGED performance of some very non-traditional Christmas carols.
Plus some extra special gifts for you all, we’ve invited those fallen angels from Molotov Jukebox for a late night DJ set that’s sure to get the stable rockin and brother Chucks from The Correspondents who will be delivering a special Blues set for y’all.
Bring party hats. Bring a toy donkey. Hell, bring your Grandma if she likes to get down with her bad self at this festive time of year. Hell, we’re gonna put the crack in Christmas Cracker!
