Join us on Sunday 17 October from 5pm, for the the inaugaral Poetry and Spoken Word debut of our new event Cocktail Poetry!
Featuring some of the best performers from the spoken word scene and offering open mic spots for those wanting to share their work.
Our premiere will bring to you the incredible award-winning poet Susan Evans taking time from touring her new collection Shift Happens to delight us all – plus the fantastic and essential Hackney author and poet Tim Wells who has kept the poetry faith since the rantastic 70s!
Get down at 5pm to sign up for a five-minute-max open mic performance slot. Show starts at 6pm.
Admission is free, but donations will be welcome to help us establish a thriving spoken word scene unfortunately beleaguered by troubled times.
