Paper Dress Presents a wonderful line-up featuring 60s garage rockers Disco Lizards, Gold Baby, Secret Power & The Feline Collage with a club night after till 2.30am hosted by DRM RLL PLS
Garage indie rock from London’s lower east end with a high energy 60s vibe
Nominated finalists of Mad Cool 2019 & Isle of Wight 2019 Festivals.
Dreamy grunge-pop fermented with the knotty impatience and potent vulnerability of obsessive-compulsive songwriter Siân Alex, North London outfit Gold Baby serve an own-brand concoction of confessional indie-pop.
Gold Baby pairs the neurotic verbosity of Fiona Apple with the white noise nonchalance of Pavement. Packaging cryptic lyricism and delicately fractured guitar parts with surges of power-pop and feedback, Siân describes it as ‘what it might sound like if Norah Jones wrote a Weezer song’.
Secret Power are Jessica Ashman, Summer Scott and Peter Han Ho Lam.
Secret Power combine their love of post-punk R&B girl group harmonies, reverb and wavy alt soul to make….whatever it is they sound like.
THE FELINE COLLAGE
If Goldfrapp and Garbage had a love child whose God parents were Massive Attack and Portishead you’d hear The Feline Collage.
