Don’t Problem bring their eight-man brass & drums monster to Paper Dress Vintage to celebrate the physical release of debut album ‘Liminality’.
The band combine genres in a groundbreaking and innovative way to reimagine what a brass band is capable of – expect all-original music that combines heavy funk & UK dance with raw psychedelia to create a vibrant fresh club-orientated jazz sound.
Plus special guest Pie Eye Collective – London-based sound scientist Matthew Gordon who melds elements of ambient, broken beat, dub-techno and hip hop; processed via a spectrum of tape saturated synthesis.
This show is part of the ‘Hello Again, Hackney’ series which Hackney Council are running to encourage local residents to return to the borough’s grassroots music venues after a very difficult period.
Each ‘Hello Again, Hackney’ ticket admits 2 guests – 1 guest must show proof of Hackney residency on admission.
