We’re throwing a week of shows to celebrate what we do at Paper Dress and launching our new PA, lights & stage following our Arts Council England grant award – expect bigger and better than ever!
And one thing we do very well is putting on a party…expect a headline set from 8-piece FUNKHAUS and their big band Funk, Jazz, Salsa & Soul sounds..think dirty bass, big horns and beats to bounce to! Support comes from 11-piece The Ukulele Ska Collective and newcomers SKARaKOODa who’ll be throwing catchy, fun and singalong ska classics at you – bring your dancing shoes!
After the live music, Paper Dress 80’s Club takes over the dancefloor till late with the best party tunes know to humankind!

UKULELE SKA COLLECTIVE
11-piece group from Hackney playing ska classics and ska versions of classics on electric ukuleles, with full bass and drums, melodica, accordion, dustbin bass, and of course kazoos. Expect catchy, fun, singalong, danceable ska tunes, from Prince Buster to the Specials and Toots and the Maytals.
Skarakooda is an instrumental London Ska band with a mega brass section & good people ;)
