NIGHT BUZZ
The tub thumping, psychedelic hallelujah, groove infused brain child of the Brazilian born and current Hackney residents, João Mello and João Taborda.
With only two releases so far, the outfit combines 70’s raw rock and roll energy, with intense and drenched in psychedelia delivery, also pulling from other aesthetics like hip hop, jazz and of course, Brazilian music.
Night Buzz is loud, groovy and it reeks of bad decisions, Hop on !
DAN EDERY
Drawing from all things Pop, Edery sounds like the eccentric product of a love triangle between Prince, Tame Impala & Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.
Dan frenetically writes, arranges and records his songs DIY, working from his chaotic studio in North London, filled with second hand instruments and musical toys. Surrounded by a band of close friends, Dan’s high-energy performances have proven to excite and captivate audiences, channelling the energy and passion of legendary performers like Mick Jagger or David Bowie’s Mick Ronson.
DROZ
Essex producer/songwriter DROZ used music to escape the isolation of the Covid lockdown and now brings the heat with his collective; DROZ & Friends, who have had rooms moving across London, letting free the world inside his head, inspired by noughties pop and disco.
The show will be followed by our ever-popular Paper Dress 80s Club, gig ticket holders are welcome to stay after the show for a late night boogie.
