On Saturday 4 October we’d be delighted if you’d join us at your favourite vintage shop / bar / live music venue for a party of humongous proportions!
We have some of the hottest live acts who have graced our unique shop window stage over the past 12 months – plus a return of DJ Dave Tempo (he of robot headed disco fame) who’ll be spinning till the early hours.

TASHKEZAR
Formally known as the Vamp, Tashkezar are about shifting musical boundaries – from their base in east London to south of the Thames, from eastern europe to latin america, from the Bosporus to the Euphrates.
Tashkezar are also about shifting instruments and personnel – from three part vocal harmonies, to balkan brass lines and celtic inspired fiddle playing. They are about shifting perspectives and atmospheres – from wild floor shaking bass lines to delicately beautiful melodies. Tashkezar are formed of a core of versatile musicians – Mariam on vocals, Badger on violin, Pavel on the bouzouki, Max on percussion and Raffy on bass.

These blues rockers have chosen Paper Dress to launch their new album ‘VOODOO CHARM’ – and we’re very pleased to have it coincide with our big birthday bash!
The band has now been together in one form or another for over 7 years playing the UK, Europe and a stint in the USA in 2009. The new album, Voodoo Charm, is their 3rd release in as many years and sees a new sound for the band that originally came up from the London punk blues garage scene, playing with the likes of Jim Jones Revue, Urban Voodoo Machine, The Godfathers, Vintage Trouble, The Dirty Strangers and New York dolls – Steve Conte to name but a few.
