But if love is only expressed in action, then their music is too: you will move, you will cry, you will explore the theatre of your deepest darkest thoughts, throwing your limbs in the air like you really, really just don’t care anymore. As infectious as plague, as thrilling as fear. Same hopeful feeling, same hopeless dread.

7 piece genre-hopping experimental ensemble delivering overearnest satirical ballads and consciousness-raising grooves at face-shaking runtimes. The Wheel 2 (!) are a proto-apocalypse agit-prog pop outfit and hyper-folk assemblage with verbiage to spare, featuring members from the Romance of Baba Loco, HR, Bishopskin and other bands that you may recognize from sultry scenester haunts, they sit sonically somewhere between Merzbow and the Wiggles, between Zappa and an air conditioner, between Death Grips and the South Swindon Retirement Home Community Choir. This is a band that makes garage rock for the flat-sharer generation – and one to whom promotional bio writing does not necessarily come naturally…

Haunting & Heavy. If Mazzy Star had a fuzz pedal. Formed in London, late 2021, by Kyla, Elsa & Poppy. House of Women’s love of haunting melodies and dirty guitars singles them out as one of London’s most exciting acts. They have played at Third at Man Records, 2000 trees and opened the main stage of All Points East festival all before their debut release ‘Hysterical’.
