Brought together through a shared passion for the modern New Orleans brass band scene, the 9-piece collective blends distinctive elements of groove music, funk, jazz, soul, free improvisation and beats from around the world into inspired original compositions and imaginatively arranged covers.
KID JUPITER
Melody makers for the modern age. A Kid Jupiter dancefloor becomes the crowd’s discotheque, their ballroom, the radio hidden under their pillow. Their live shows have all the pomp and energy of musical theatre, if every actor on stage was Bruce Springsteen in a cravat.
Kid Jupiter’s post-retro look and sound hearkens back to classic artists like The Byrds, The Rolling Stones and The Alan Parsons Project. Meanwhile their lyrics live in a more modern house, beating the drum for gender identity, modern masculinity and living with anxiety.

Big news back in Indonesia where they regularly fill out large venues, Elephant Kind have moved to London to introduce their kaleidoscopic alt-pop, energising indie and jazzy psychedelia to the UK.
