Written and recorded over the past seven years between his makeshift home studio and fish factory studios in Willesden, jabo’s debut ‘photoautomat’ is lo-fi capturing fragments of time, memory, and quiet observation, moments gathered while off the road from touring with Michael Kiwanuka and recording with various other artists. The music moves between warm guitar textures, reflective lyricism, and the understated honesty of someone documenting life as it unfolds.
