Here’s what’s in store for the next helping of London’s friendliest, fabbest folk night!
£4, doors at 7.30 for music from 8pm. 4 live acts!
Farrago – 10pm
This London four-piece started life as the solo project of Ian Bennett. His poetic and thought-provoking songs have evolved into intoxicating psychedelic folk soundscapes, characterised by powerful acoustic guitar sound and soulful vocals.
Tom Hyatt – 9.20pm
We are excited that Tom Hyatt is back to join us at The Music Box. His powerful live delivery and personal lyrics made for a fantastically memorable performance on his last visit.
Roger Stevens – 8.40pm
Author, poet and musician Roger Stevens plays songs with thoughtful lyrics, good melodies and some joining-inny bits. With guests Michael Whitehead on percussion and Karen Moses on backing vocals.
“Roger’s songs are contemporary, relevant and laced with a dash of humour… If I spent an evening with him in a folk club I’d reckon it time well spent.”
– Dai Jeffries, R2 (Rock ‘n’ Reel)
Mock Deer – 8pm
A return guest to The Music Box, Mock Deer is singer/songwriter Ricky Damiani. Now settled in London after returning from travels around the world, Mock Deer’s heartfelt lyrics and intricate guitar playing are a delight to watch.
See you there!
