Les Bonbons debut album is out on Bastille Day (yeah it’s July 14th..) and to celebrate this we’re doing une petite party in one of Shoreditch’s finest endroit: Paper Dress Vintage
If you come early enough, you might even be able to get your hands on the very first limited edition vinyls of the album, oui. All kicks off at 8pm with amazing hand picked supports and dj pour votre plaisir only. x
LES BONBONS (9.30)
Fred Bonbon and Billy Bonbon (no relation) are Les Bonbons. The talk of two towns, London and Paree, Fred, frenchy and chic, and Billy, dapper English gent, have created a European union that is magnifique: a sound that grabs the Belleville Rendez-vous style, takes it to Carnaby Street for a makeover, feeds it Jack and Gauloises on Quality Street, and drags it home to the Macfarlane Arches.
The melodies – jaunty to jazzy and even a little bleu – are clever and catchy; the lyrics – winkingly Franglais – are witty and cool; and the vocals – all deliciously breathy and louche – are Just. So. French… le sigh. Debut album arrives July 14th 2014, warn your dentist. Les Bonbons. Sweet.

BETHIA BEADMAN (8.45pm)
Bethia grew up in an underground grotto in Bath. A child ballerina, she graduated from Cambridge with a starred first in Theology and Sanskrit, before working in a London recording studio (on albums by REM and Depeche Mode). She has sung in the Vatican and toured in Courtney Love’s band.
Her video ‘Fire’ by LA artist Mason Jar won Best Music Video at the Cannes Independent Film Festival (May 2012) following the Gold Prize Award at Alameda, San Francisco. The ‘Glow Baby Glow’ video shot by Berlin duo nowMomentnow features the grotto smashed to pieces in love.
