Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor plays a solo show in support of his latest album Piano.
Collecting covers, new songs and reimagining his own creations, Taylor’s intimate offering pares back the busyness of the band’s production for an unafraid exposé of him and 88 keys. Praised by DIY for being “bold and poignant” the album is saturated with honest and simple tracks like I’m Ready, where Taylor gently croons over sparse chords.
